OEE

Overall Equipment Effectiveness

A modern dashboard to easily assess the effectiveness of your manufacturing equipment: Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) allows you to monitor processes from anywhere in the world and immediately detect efficiency and quality losses. This is achieved by determining three key metrics:

  • Availability: Compares the planned production time to the actual production time. Key factors include setup times and unplanned downtime.
  • Performance: Evaluates the actual production speed in relation to the theoretically possible speed. Minor downtime, such as error acknowledgments, can reduce performance.
  • Quality: Measures the ratio of rejects to the produced quantity. The focus is on identifying the quantities that do not meet quality standards and therefore cannot be sold.

OEE accounts for all losses by multiplying the described metrics. A perfect production would result in an OEE value of 100%.

The evaluation and presentation of the data can be done in any web browser. A modern design is combined with high information density. Various evaluations offer maximum improvement potential. Both the running production and the evaluation of a recipe can be easily monitored.

OEE provides transparency in the production process, allowing efficiency and quality losses to be identified and addressed.

OEE is a modular component that can be easily integrated into MIDAS. It can also be retrofitted to existing systems. Existing data is used and new data is collected using modern technologies to provide a fully efficient and synchronized system.
