Company History
Welcome to m-tec® - Your Partner for Innovative Dry Mortar Technology!
As a pioneering company in southwestern Germany, the Mathis Kalkwerk (lime plant) began producing dry mortar products under the brand name maxit early on, which quickly achieved international success. In 1965, the Mathis Kalkwerk developed its first plastering machine and revolutionized the supply of dry mortar on construction sites a few years later with the introduction of the transport silo.
To meet the growing demand for machinery, the lime plant founded m-tec® mathis technik gmbh in 1978, now better known simply as m-tec®. Over the next four decades, m-tec® evolved into a global leader in dry mortar technology. Today, m-tec® machines and systems are also used in many other bulk material applications. With continuous innovation, m-tec® has established itself as a technology leader in the market.
After more than three decades as a subsidiary of leading dry mortar producers, m-tec® joined the Chinese Zoomlion Group in 2014, one of the world's largest construction machinery manufacturers.
In 2018, m-tec® celebrated its 40th anniversary—four decades of highly specialized machinery and plant engineering, characterized by innovative action, strong team spirit, and long-standing, trusted partnerships with customers and business partners worldwide.
